Before work­ing with Vic­tor, we were prof­itable and growing—but I knew we weren’t max­i­miz­ing the enter­prise val­ue of the com­pa­ny. I saw the poten­tial val­ue a buy­er would get from our busi­ness and real­ized we should be the ones cap­tur­ing that val­ue now, not them lat­er.

Prob­a­bly the biggest game chang­er was get­ting laser-focused on our Ide­al Cus­tomer Pro­file. We used to sell to any­one will­ing to pay. After work­ing with Vic­tor, we dis­cov­ered that not all cus­tomers are equal­ly profitable—and some weren’t prof­itable at all. That insight com­plete­ly changed our mar­ket­ing, sales, cus­tomer suc­cess, and even prod­uct roadmap.

One of the most pow­er­ful shifts for me per­son­al­ly was mov­ing away from gut-dri­ven deci­sion mak­ing and into tru­ly ana­lyt­i­cal think­ing. The gut gets you to a cer­tain point—but it won’t get you across the fin­ish line.

Vic­tor helped me see the “Promised Land” clearly—but also gave me the tools and method­ol­o­gy to lead my team there. It’s not enough to just declare a strate­gic shift; you have to guide your orga­ni­za­tion through it.
