Why You Have 12 Months to Embrace AI—or Risk Falling Behind

AI is being adopted faster than any other technology in history. While it took the internet over two decades to reach near-global adoption, AI is on track to do it in just three years.

We’re living through a profound inflection point. Businesses and individuals who adapt will thrive. Those who don’t? They’ll get left behind.

So what can you do?

Start by shifting your mindset. The most important skill today is learning to think AI-first. Whether you’re a founder, employee, or student, you must begin asking:

“Can AI do this better, faster, or cheaper?”

But this doesn’t mean humans are obsolete. Quite the opposite.

AI is exceptional at repetitive, patterned tasks—but it struggles with rare, ambiguous, or unexpected situations. It needs human support in three areas:

  1. Decision-making: Humans define what the customer experience should be.
  2. Training: AI needs curated, high-quality data to function well.
  3. Verification: People must review and confirm whether AI outputs are correct.

In short, AI can’t fully replace you, but someone using AI probably will.

If you’re a business leader or professional, you must act now. Learn how to work with AI. Reimagine workflows. Rethink roles. Because in the next 12 months, everything changes.
